Batman and Jay Garrick stand against an android samurai with a bad attitude!
REVIEW by Brian Fisher

There are so many great things about this issue that I don't know where to begin. How about the title: "American Samuroids?" Brilliant! Of course this could have just as easily been called "The Brave and the Old," but that would require me to make a bad pun. Jay Garrick visits Gotham to investigate the murder of an old colleague and runs into Batman. What follows is a "gee-whiz," "aw-shucks" kind of old-fashioned story, and there's nothing wrong with that. I'm going to miss Mark Waid when he leaves this title, and with that departure coming sooner than later I'm just gonna have to enjoy this book while I still can.
I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
