World War Hulk Damage Control #2 (2007)

$2.99
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Written By Dwayne Mcduffie Penciled By Salva Espin Cover By John Romita Jr.
While an overworked Damage Control struggles to stay on the job, the Chrysler Building is on a rampage. That's right, the actual building. Meanwhile, the all-new Goliath joins Damage Control's Search and Rescue team, and Gene repairs a broken robot who may be the secret to survival in post-World War Hulk Manhattan.

"I really like the art in this. Also, the story’s pretty fun, not too serious or anything. BUT. Why, in EVERY SINGLE BOOK since Civil War ended, do the Pro-Registration teams ALWAYS (ALWAYS!) let the unregistered heroes just leave? You’re supposed to arrest them! EVERY TIME! And yet, in EVERY SINGLE BOOK since Civil War ended, EVERY character that’s tasked with bringing in the ‘outlaw’ heroes just lets them go! Every time! And it’s always with the same B.S. ‘Gee, I guess we’ll have to say you got away from us. But next time we see you –‘ Jesus, don’t even bother with your ridiculous threats! You’ll just let them go again! Like you do every time! And this time, THIS TIME, even the THUNDERBOLTS let all the unregistered heroes get away. THE THUNDERBOLTS! Venom, for God’s sake! He EATS BRAINS, but he’s perfectly willing to let Spider-Man (WHOSE BRAINS HE WANTS TO EAT) just get out from being arrested. What the **** was the point of the end of Civil War if ABSOLUTELY NO ONE on the Pro-Registration side cares if people are registered or not? GAH!"
