Fallen Son Death of Captain America #5 Iron Man

Fallen Son Death of Captain America #5 Iron Man

$4.00
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Written by JEPH LOEB Pencils and Cover by JOHN CASSADAY Variant Cover by MICHAEL TURNER
Can the Marvel Universe accept the death of a true hero? In the wake of a tragedy, Marvel has visited the top heroes of the Marvel Universe, and now it all comes down this in a story that will have True Believers debating -- and maybe even shedding a tear.
BONUS REVIEW by W. DAL BUSH
If you read only one epilogue to Captain America's death, make it this one. Not 'cause it's THAT great, it's just that those others are awful and unnecessary. I mean, 4 issues of Spidey fighting Rhino and the New Avengers playing poker? What's Marvel going to kill next, my ability to enjoy reading comics? Anyway, though, this one? It's pretty good. Almost exactly what you thought a follow-up to Cap's death should read like. Beautifully drawn by definitive Modern Cap artist John Cassaday, touching dialogue from Jeph Loeb that manages to avoid being too cloying... and it's got a Cap-Wolf reference! Not a bad way to close out (hopefully) the last few months of seemingly never-ending Cap memorials. 7 Grahams
