Runaways #24 (2005)

Runaways #24 (2005)

$4.00
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Written by Brian K. Vaughan, penciled by Adrian Alphonsa, cover by Jo Chen.
"Live Fast," part 3 of 3. In an explosive conclusion that changes everything forever, the Runaways bid farewell to co-creators Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona, who prepare to turn the keys to the Hostel over to the incoming creative team of Joss Whedon and Michael Ryan!
BONUS REVIEW by DAL BUSH
Since I've only got a few dozen words to do this review with, let me give you an easy, open-ended question: Is Runaways really as good as we all think it is, or have we just wanted it to be good? Discuss. In the meantime, creators Brian K. Vaughan (the K stands for Kuality) and Adrian Alphona are off the book, leaving a legacy of tons of plot twists and, if you take the blinders off, some unlikable characters. Sorry to kick 'em when they're out the door, but I love me some controversy. Still, this was a good issue. 7 Grahams
