Runaways #21 (2005)

Runaways #21 (2005)

$4.00
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Written by Brian K. Vaughan, penciled by Mike Norton, cover by Jo Chen.
It's the shocking conclusion of "Dead Means Dead!" As the Runaways face the biggest threat of their young lives, an old friend reappears.
BONUS REVIEW by DAL BUSH
Like most Runaways fans, I was a little surprised when Brian K. Vaughan announced he and co-creator Adrian Alphona were leaving the book with #24. The reason cited was the idea of leaving BEFORE the book started to drop in quality. Well, guess what? Too late. The first post-(NAME OF DEAD RUNAWAY) arc wraps, and BOY was it pointless. Some small ideas developed, but an inordinate amount of wheel-spinning can't make this not feel like what it is: a fill-in arc, by the regular writer. When does Joss start? 5 Grahams
