VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Written by Christos Gage, pencils and cover by Mike Perkins.
Spinning out of Captain America, Britain's premier super hero has mere hours to prevent multiple terrorist attacks on London by an army of super-villains! Union Jack leads Sabra and the new Arabian Knight into battle! But when his boss at MI5 risks innocent lives to bring down the enemy, Union Jack faces a tough choice--and the fate of London itself rests on his decision. Guest-starring Sabra, Arabian Knight, Batroc the Leaper, Machette, Zaran, Boomerang, Crossfire, Jack O'Lantern, Shockwave and more.
BONUS REVIEW by DAL BUSH
The Captain America series has a riveting lead character in Cap himself, killer writing from Ed Brubaker, beautiful artwork from Steve Epting and (mostly) fun, engaging storylines. So here's the Cap spin-off Union Jack with sub-Brubaker writing, sub-Epting artwork and a decent if uninspired "global supervillian terror attack" story. It's okay if you simply can't get enough Cap-related goods (*cough*PATRICKBROWER*cough*) but for the rest, maybe give this one a pass. 5 Grahams
