Annihilation Nova #3 (2006)

Annihilation Nova #3 (2006)

$5.00
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Written by Andy Lanning and Dan Abnett, penciled by Kev Walker, cover by Gabrielle Dell'Otto.

Guest-starring Quasar. Escaping ahead of the overwhelming Annihilation Wave, Nova and his companions Drax and Cammi find shelter on a colony world where the population is engaged in a panicked evacuation effort. But can even the power of Quasar and an alien armada keep the innocents safe when the hostile forces roll in? Is it time for Nova to stop running and start fighting back? Or, for the sake of the Universe, is that the last thing he should try?

Available:
June 21st 2006
BONUS REVIEW by W. DAL BUSH
The Earth has apparently stopped stopped spinning, if this month's Nova is to be believed. Quasar is back... AND. HE'S. COOL! Take that, doubters! A stellar series somehow gets better as ridiculously talented sci-fi team Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning take C-list characters you swore you'd never like(Quasar, Drax, uh... Nova) and make them the most exciting cosmic characters yet. Plus, they took my 90's fave Quasar and mad him awesome again. That must be tearing you people up. Well, just to rub it in, let me conclude this review with the following: Quasar! Quasar! Quasar! Quasar! Quasar! Quasar! Quasar! Quasar! Quasar!
I give it 9 Grahams out of 10.
