"Batman Reborn" begins here! With the reunited team of Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely (ALL-STAR SUPERMAN, WE3, New X-Men), this first issue kicks off a 3-part story arc that can't be missed! The new Dynamic Duo hit the streets with a bang in their new flying Batmobile as they face off against an assemblage of villains called the Circus of Strange. They also tackle their first mission investigating a child who’s been abducted by the mysterious Domino Killer. But will everything go smoothly? And who exactly are the new Batman and Robin? The newest era of The Dark Knight begins here!

BONUS REVIEW by Stephen Banas

Well, here we go with the new man behind the cowl and boy wonder. Without giving away who they are all I can say is this will certainly be interesting, but I believe this new duo is the correct pair if someone else has to take up the mantle. Right off the bat we see the new team in action as they chase down Toad in a thrilling highway expedition. Soon after there is a great behind the scenes look into the Batcave and the adjustment everyone is struggling to make with Bruce Wayne nowhere to be found. It ends with a great cliffhanger that has me more than excited for the rest of this initial arc. When you combine all the elements at work this was simply a beautiful, well paced and exciting first issue that provides a solid foundation for what’s to come. Full recommendation!
I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
