BONUS REVIEW by GARY OWENS

So what did vampires do during WWII? John Byrne works his magic on another IDW/Buffy the Vampire Killer tale, with Angel (the vampire character who had a spinoff series from Buffy) trying to make his way through the front lines. It has the typical Byrne touches: plot twists, inventive remedies to sticky situations, and playing around with another artistic style, in this case with the only color, within the book itself, being red…specifically, red in a certain context. Always a fan of Angel, the character, and Byrne, the artist, this is a good treat for Byrne fans, Buffy fans, Horror fans, and fans who like straight-forward story-telling.
I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
