So, unfortunately right out of the gate, DC gets points off for one of the most HORRIBLY marketed books that they’ve ever put out. I’m a HUGE Nemesis fan, and I had NO clue that this book was even about Nemesis until I just happened to flip through it last night. More points are taken off for the book itself. This is SUCH an intro to a bigger story, it’s not even funny. It’s got a cool surprise ending, but the rest of the story is really just filler, which is unusual for a first issue. Generally you want to establish things, but the only thing that this book establishes is that there’s 4 more issues after this. Don’t get me wrong, once completed, this could be a GREAT series. It’s just off to a weak start.
I give it 6 out of 10 Grahams
