Immediately after the fight ends is a flash forward to the assassination of the main character and the subsequent beginning of his origin tale. It only took a few pages to realize this book is an uninteresting mix of Captain America and Watchmen set during the 9/11 era. The art was impressive enough to get me to the end, but the story was stale and contrived and I probably won’t be coming back for the second issue. I give it 4 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
