A SECRET INVASION TIE-IN The insane invasion hits the moon as an army of Super-Skrulls lay siege on Attilan! As the Inhuman Royal Family defends their city with their lives, Medusa proves that she’ll do anything to find answers about Black Bolt. But how far is too far?
Date Available: 09/10/2008
REVIEW by Brian Fisher

It seems, just as was the case with Final Crisis: Revelations, what I thought would turn out to be one of the weaker tie-ins to this year’s big event has turned out to be one of its strongest. The Skrull invasion of Attilan is in full swing as the Inhumans show the Skrulls why they were the Kree’s secret weapon, turning the invasion into a massacre of the invading. I’m not familiar with the previous works of Joe Pokanski (if there even are any) but he shows his chops here, and also his potential. Tom Raney, who I’m starting to warm up to with each new project is still a bit inconsistent, but when he shows the pain and horror on the face of Black Bolt as the Skrulls threaten to torture his child it shows why he’s one of the more versatile artists in the industry.
I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
