Everything in Grant Morrison’s groundbreaking run on Batman has been leading to this story, and nothing will ever be the same again. Who will live? Who will die? Who will be Batman? The answers are sure to shock you in “Batman R.I.P.,” featuring artwork by Tony Daniel & Sandu Florea and covers by Alex Ross.
REVIEW by Brian Fisher

The last five pages make this book worth reading. If not for five of the most disturbingly intriguing pages I've ever seen in a comic I couldn't have written a positive review. The majority of this book is overly expository and boring, delving into Robin's concerns over Bruce's mental health and his deepening relationship with Jezebel. Snooze-fest. But the fifth to last page (and I won't ruin it for those of you who haven't read it yet) with blood cascading down the stairs of Arkham forebodes some wicked things for the future of the Batman franchise.
I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
