VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
By Terry Moore
When Julie Martin becomes exposed to the fallout of a new, hi-tech weapon she seeks help, but instead finds she's become the target of a military contractor who wants her dead. The people she once depended upon either cannot or will not help, so Julie runs. Now her only allies are a park ranger she's never met and a woman who is dead. Don't miss this second chapter of the exciting new series from SiP creator Terry Moore!
REVIEW by Brian Fisher

I've always been intrigued by Terry Moore's work, but honestly I've never read any of it until now. I've heard great stuff about Strangers in Paradise and maybe someday I'll sit down and read it, especially after reading the first two issues of Echo, Moore's first post-SiP work. Echo is the story of a photographer who is covered in a liquid metal like substance after a top-secret military weapon is detonated in the desert sky. So far the first two issues have been set-up which is to be expected in the age of "decompression," but the story is very engaging and makes me want to find out more. Moore's artwork is one of the highlights of this book. He has a very unconventional style for a genre book like this, but he definitely makes it work in his favor. There's been a lot of "wait for the trade" talk, especially from my customers, but coming from someone who likes to read books issue-to-issue this is absolutely one to check out.
I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
