(W) Garth Ennis
(A) Carlos Ezquerra
(CA) Isaac Hannaford
Garth Ennis (Preacher, Hellblazer) joins Carlos Ezquerra (Judge Dredd, Strontium Dog) to create a tense war story inspired by the massively popular (over 110 million players!) online game World of Tanks. An untested British crew inadvertently commands an unconventional Cromwell tank into France while hunted by a hardened German panzer unit. o Illustrated by comics luminary and cocreator of Judge Dredd Carlos Ezquerra! o World of Tanks has a global audience of 110 million players! o The global MMOG phenomenon comes to comics!
Date Available: 08/31/2016
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

You may already know if you like Garth Ennis writing WWII stories. He'll do them both ways, some 'full Garth', some deadly serious. Either way, you're going to have an excellent older artist, probably from 2000AD, providing clear tactical versions of things that might have happened. All the while, you'll be treated to stories about Jerry, the huns, those da*n Brits, and how neither side's equipment worked the way it was intended. If any of that is appealing to you, please direct yourself to World of Tanks.

PS- Carlos Ezquerra is your 2000AD artist on hand, as is often the case with these stories. Yea!

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
