Teen Titans Rebirth #1

$4.99
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Ben Percy
(A/CA) Jonboy Meyers
The Teen Titans are farther apart than ever before…until Damian Wayne recruits Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and the new Kid Flash to join him in a fight against his own grandfather, Ra's al Ghul! But true leadership is more than just calling the shots-is Robin really up to the task? Or will the Teen Titans dismiss this diminutive dictator?

BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

This is rough issue. It's fine in the story department (let's meet the Teen Titans!), its fine in the visual storytelling department (you can tell what's happening), but the art itself is either A. not my cup of tea, or B. terrible terrible terrible, with a dash of awful thrown in to make it look slightly worse. I've disliked Jonboy Meyer's art since it dragged Spawn down. It seemed like it would be more suited for a kids book there. Here it seems too much like a kids book to be taken seriously. What good is clear visual storytelling if you can't stand to look at the visuals?

I give it 4 out of 10 Grahams
