BONUS REVIEW by ANDY COLE

DC's flagship character gets his 2nd installment with issue #2 picking up right where #1 left off. Sadly it really feels like some of the momentum of the 1st issue is lost in a very talk-y issue. And about 1/2 of the book is a battle. It really felt like 2 different books. On one hand we have a book where many things in the Superman world have changed with the re-boot, but on the other hand we have a book that feels like it's a mid 80's throw down for the big blue. The art is decent. the story is uneven, but ok. If you are looking for a Suoerman fix, this should do it. But if you are after something really good in the 52 relaunch, you can do better.
