BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy
If you want to see exactly what a great inker can bring to comic art, compare Han Solo #1 and #3. The addition of Dexter Vines to tighten and clarify Mark Brooks' pencils instantly raises the quality of everyone's work. It's like adding Kevin Nowlan to anything...it makes it look better. He's an unsung, under-used great who is probably best known for inking Steve McNiven on the Old Man Logan issues of Wolverine. Go Dexter Vines! He isn't able to ink over the fact that this is a somewhat silly space racing story. Now its a sharp looking version of that. I give it 6 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
