VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W)Justin Jordan (A) Kyle Strahm
Beth and Virginia have relocated to Los Angeles where things only appear more normal... Take a ringside seat for these brutal tales of twisted emotion that will knock you to the mat and have you seeing stars... Collects STRAY BULLETS #15-22
Date Available: 09/30/2015
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Summarily: Spread is The Thing meets Lone Wolf and Cub meets Ravenous meets a Tarantino script about almost anything meets Batman Returns meets John Milius' Conan (the good one).

Lengthily: Spread has gone and grown so much from its original first few issues that it no longer fits in the 'blank meets blank' categories assigned to it. It's a full and rich universe that feels more like anything can happen than trying anything to see what works. Justin Jordan offers deft characterization for a band of true misfits, without mistaking simplicity for ease. Kyle Strahm's art works as well around a campfire as it does depicting a three mile vista of gore. This is a fantastic book. Check it out if you like any of the things listed earlier. (Be honest...you like at least ONE of those things.)

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
