What the what? A totally fun (FUN!) classic style Spidey super story just before a totally fun (FUN!) classic style Spidey super movie comes out? It has to be a coincidence, right? Robbie Thompson and Baxter Stockman probably just had another issue of SPIDEY in the can before it was canned. Too bad. It was a fun series doing everything effortlessly that Peter Parker is laboring over after only 1 issue.

Did I say Baxter? That's a whole different book. Nathan. I meant Nathan. Sorry Nathan.

Bonus- A reprint of Spidey's first encounter with the Vulture, courtesy of Stan the Man, and Steve the Recluse who drew Rom. Isn't the Vulture going to be in a movie soon? Hmmmm.....

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
