For weeks, super-villain Julia Moonglow has been feeding off the body and energy of Barry 'Flyboy' Chase while keeping him from remembering this. Now she's ready to let him remember, and reveals why she's been stalking him and the fate of her late twin sister. But that's just the warm-up for the big reveal, as Barry learns for the first time that the Red Cowl may be alive, a discovery that shatters him down to his very core.

BONUS REVIEW by Shanna (Berry) Wallace

I originally was psyched to read this because I mistook it for Paul Jenkin’s Sidekick – a hilarious romp that I would LOVE to revisit. However, I was equally pleased upon reading this INSANELY AMAZING BOOK!! Straczynski always pulls out all the stops, challenging current trends, pushing the bar ever higher.

Think Irredeemable meets Life and Times of Savior 28, dark and brooding with more twists than you know what to do with! Meet Red Cowl and his Sidekick, Flyboy, witness in the first few pages their glory days! Then turn the page to reveal “adult” Flyboy – a waste of flesh at his very lowest point. And this is just the very beginning. By the third page I’m hooked. By the end I’m reeling.

Those of you looking for the next big deconstructed superhero book, this is your lucky day.

THIS IS SO FLIPPING GOOD!!!

I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
