I kept waiting for the crazy 88 to pop up in Shadowland Elektra given the sheer amount of limbs severed and blood spilled within its 22 pages. Sadly, this book did very little to contribute to the overall story nor did it really add to my understanding of the need for Elektra’s presence in Shadowland whatsoever. Matt’s plenty conflicted enough without dropping another big ol’ bag of crazy into his lap. That being said, she does play the situation exactly like some women I’ve known, in that she’s screaming, just get over me, while at the same time getting as close to Matt as she possibly can. Not all that helpful Lady in Red. The art has quite an anime feel to it, which is great, if you like that sort of thing and makes up slightly for the underdeveloped story. If you don’t feel you have to read this one, save your money for Justice League: Generations Lost. Otherwise, enjoy the wet work.
I give it 5 out of 10 Grahams
