Holy overactive imagination! When Scarecrow attacks using his fear gas, only humans are affected, leaving Batman, Robin and the Mystery Inc. gang trapped facing 'monsters' from their own imaginations. Now, it's up to canine crusaders Scooby-Doo and Ace the Bat-Hound to save the day!
Date Available: 01/08/2014
BONUS REVIEW by John "Doc" Schaefer

Scooby Doo teams up with Batman? Ddn't we get this in issue #1? The bad news is that Batman is fast becoming the main guest star of this book. The good news is that writer Sholly Fisch uses this opportunity to explore the lush history of the DC Universe's detectives. Aside from Batman, Robin, and Ace the Bat-Hound (!), we get to be reintroduced to such favorites as Roy Raymond, Angel O'Daye & Sam Simeon, Detective Chimp, Mysto, & Slam Bradley! The interaction between Scooby and Ace is amusing and it is rather interesting that the Mystery Inc. gang get their props as detectives by this illustrious group. Again, cudoes to a kids book for turning in an entertaining story without having to rewrite an entire universe.

I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
