 One has to take a step back to enjoy this title. While still a love letter to the fans of the Golden Age, this rather warped spoof does have a dark side. At the end of the series, I totally expect to see the final panel being the real Tim, Sparky, and Captain Battle Jr. holding an issue of the book and breaking the fourth wall to tell us of their displeasure (ala Not Brand Eccch!). The trick here is to simply enjoy the shenanigans and not take it all that seriously. I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
