This is it! Time is running out and we're left with the last stand of Thor and Hyperion... supposedly. This issue brings the team that left Earth to travel through the universe to find the source of the incursions - Thor, Hyperion, Starbrand, Nightmask, Abyss, and Ex Nihilo - face to face with Beyonders. Hickman does a good job of making Starbrand and Nightmask less enigmatic while at the same time making them actually seem like universal forces. Deodato produces some great fight scenes that wonderfully conveys both the pain and victory found therein. Thor and Hyperion have a veteran camaraderie filled with respect that is heartwarming in the face of their unstoppable foes. This issue - as well as the Avengers and New Avengers issues preceding it - finally bring the loose strings together and make the series worth picking up again.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
