The Muppets are so '80's. I don't think my kids understand how Kermit was the Average Joe on Sesame Street, the Tom Hanks that made everything so cool. But that's decades ago. Here he is, back with Ms. Piggy, playing Peter Pan to her PiggyTink, as both hang out in Boston (forget Britain.this is the American version). Right away I liked it; they twist the story, giving the argumentative Muppets version instead, staying sassy and disorganized (like the original show) all the way. Funny writing, great art, including a foreshadow of that legendary Ms. Piggy jealousy. Can't wait for round two.
I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
