Rated T
Date Available: 12/13/2017
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

For anyone hoping that the new deal between Disney and Fox will bring back the Fantastic Four, I'm here to tell you that you have half of them right here. There are some fuzzy details- why don't Ben and Johnny remember that Reed, Sue and the kids are off rebuilding the multiverse after Secret Wars? Why doesn't Doom remember conversations and behaviors from two months ago?- for the most part, those question fall to the side when Jim Cheung is drawing the book. Marvel doesn't believe that artists 'move the needle', but when sales drop off with issue #2 when it is 'Not Jim Cheung' drawing the book, they'll be wrong again. For now, how about half of an adventure, beautifully drawn, with some genuine sense of adventure, like the Fantastic Four had on the their best days?

OK, one more giant question. If Marvel has gone back to Legacy numbering, if this title had been out 5 months ago as a new newsstand entry, it would have gone back to the original numbering of #105 right? Forget that, forget that....Jim Cheung artwork...its slobberin' time.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
