For the first time in the new Star Wars canon, journey with us into the time after the end of Return of the Jedi! Writer Greg Rucka (PUNISHER, WOLVERINE, Gotham Central) and artist Marco Checchetto (AVENGERS WORLD, PUNISHER) take us past the destruction of the second Death Star into the chaos of a Shattered Empire. Rated T+
Date Available: 09/09/2015
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

The new, offical, 'this is what happened after your favorite movie trilogy ended, prepare for disappointment' post ROTJ history starts here. The good news- its ok. There are some questionable dialogue choices, and the coloring is pretty bland. That's about as bad as it gets.

Marco Checchetto's art is clean, clear, with just a bit of a manga feel. The 'journey' here appears to be the introduction of Poe Dameron's (and if you don't know who that is, you will in three months) parents, a pair of Han and Leia-esque rebels in love, but with a mission to perform. We'll get a feel for the Empire's post Death Star plan next issue. Hopefully, it will be a bit more engaging.

I give it 6 out of 10 Grahams
