International Iron Man #5 (2016)

$3.99
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Brian Michael Bendis
(A/CA) Alex Maleev
As Iron Man takes center stage in one of the biggest events in Marvel history, Tony is finally faced with the true identity of his parents. This is a cannot-miss issue in the life of Tony Stark. Rated T+
Date Available: 07/27/2016
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

There are big things afoot in Bendis!(tm)'s Iron Man books. What's bigger-a new Iron person or Tony's real parents? You can decide for yourselves. I'm going with the latter. I didn't like Kieron Gillen's time with Tony, and he totally lost me with the adoption business. That's fine, its the way things are, and we're still getting stories saying it happened, so I guess Reed and Franklin have made it so. This issue made me care about that by making it personal. I sure hope Tony is still alive at the end of Civil War II so this has some time to breathe.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
