BONUS REVIEW by JOHN SCHAEFER

Thank goodness that DC realized that there are no powerful women in the New 52 universe that aren't also voluptuous (re: SEXY HOT!) as well. And thus we enter the world of the Huntress. Through contacts at the Daily Planet (Hmm, where have I heard that name before?) The Huntress launches an attack against human trafficing (Or as we used to call it in the 70's...the slave trade.) A lot of the concepts in this book read like they came out of a 70's explotation movie. The only problem is that Paul Levitz and Marcus To do it really well. The characters are strong and really a pleasure to read. The action keeps moving at a good pace and the artwork is wonderful. Now, of course, there will be those out there that will have problems with this book. Was the lace g-string hanging on the clothline on the cover necessary? (There was a pair of boxers out there too. Fair's Fair.) Does the Huntress really wear shorty nightgowns when she goes to bed? (Does any woman since 1979, wear those? Seriously, I cried the day those went out of style.) But it's just a brief interlude until the black and purple leather is back on. Huntress #1 makes a great addition to DC's new 52 titles...hmmm, what do you mean it's a mini-series? Are you sure it isn't included in the count? 51...52...53, I guess not. Get over the satin and lace boys and girls and enjoy a really good story
