I really thought that I wouldn’t give 2 craps about this. And I pleasantly surprised. I’m generally not a fan of Fabian Nicieza, but this issue was pretty good. You get bits and pieces of what the supporting cast of Gotham City is up to since Batman has died. Leslie Thompkins, Harvey Bullock, Stephanie Brown and Vicki Vale all share screen time wrapped around a narrative by The Veil. A good, solid read to fill the gaps in a-as of now-Batman-less world.
