A doctor dealing with hallucinations of Cronenbergian monsters trying to come to a rational explanation for the visions he is experiencing. A nun tries to save the soul of a man going through a sudden and terrifying transformation. A woman dealing with the loss of her parents cleans out inventory of old film reels from the family business and ends up selling a particular one to a man who may be involved in these mysterious goings-on? How are all of these things connected? Is mankind turning into a race of mutated monsters? Or is mankind on the verge of something greater?
