A lot about Moonstone comics I enjoy, like the Phantom Generations long story format, and the Zorro artwork, to name two. But Domino Lady doesn’t apply. It had the femme fatale, here in the lead, but the character was bland, just a voluptuous blonde, as the flow of the story jumped and skipped like a scratched record (o.k., maybe a more timely analogy; how about like a ‘fried CD’?). Even more troubling was her interaction with the suspect. Without giving anything away, it seemed like she just went with the flow. Now that could be story, really, but it isn’t here. Not by a long shot.
