New series! New writing team! New laser-filled, time-mangling, galaxy-sploding dynamic! Accused of a genocidal crime he (probably) didnt (possibly) commit (oh hell, he totally did it), the Doctor and Alice - along with a unique new companion! - go on the run. But extreme hyperviolence-for-hire is hot on their tail, tracking them wherever and whenever they go. With chainswords! Its a race to clear our tricksy Time Lords name and spare the lives of his friends, with the only answers burnt in the fiery footsteps of the incarnation he can never acknowledge: the War Doctor. Breathless twists abound as the Eleventh Doctor series jumps into a new gear, for a new year!
Date Available: 10/07/2015
BONUS REVIEW by John "Doc" Schaefer

Ok. So by the cover, I can tell we're in for a flashback tale starring the War Doctor. That's fine. I'm all for untold tales of the Time War. Mysterious enemies that the War Doctor messed up. Brilliant. Not worth a 10 however. That is until you throw in the creature known as the Then and the Now! 1st Doctor cameo! Tom Baker Curator cameo! And then end me with a guest appearance by Abslom Daak! (For those of you too young to have been around in the 80's, Abslom Daak was a Dalek Killer who graced the backup pages of Doctor Who Weely magazine. And he did it with a chainsaw that cut Daleks! Did I mention he was nuts! Now this is a storyline that is going places I want to see!

I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
