An Inhuman with the ability to predict the future has helped the heroes of the Marvel Universe clamp down on crime before it can even happen. While this thwarts most criminals, one man has found a way to keep doing what he does best. Wilson Fisk has managed to stay one step ahead of the good guys and his crime enterprise is BOOMING. But what's his secret?! Rising stars Matthew Rosenberg (We Can Never Go Home) and Ricardo Lopez Ortiz (Wolf) present a gritty, street-level view of CIVIL WAR II starring the Kingpin in a world without crime! Rated T+

Villains are getting all the good words at Marvel. Last week the Red Skull had some interesting things to say. This week its the Kingpin. Those words come from Matthew Rosenberg (of 4 Kids Walk Into A Bank fame). He's got a strong point of view about what's happening with pre-crime bringing in all of his friends. He's also got a strong plan to get around it. Its inhuman how lucky he gets. The art by Ricardo Lopez Ortiz reminded me of Kyle Strahm's work on The Spread. That means its not for everyone- we'll just say its looser than most mainstream super hero books. If you're enjoying Civil War II and civil liberties, you'll probably enjoy this.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
