When Batman Inc. #2 ended rather hurriedly, in my opinion, I feared that all my good words for issue 1 were going to blow up in my face. But after a brief yet intriguing future plot set up, the return of El Guacho to the printed page was another masterpiece. Charging off the page with Batman bringing up the rear, El Guacho motorcycle attack reminded me of the days when Wildcat or the original Vigalante would come crashing in to save the day on their cycles of choice. Another interesting storyline and three more super-villians challenging enough to be a little goofy (check out the girl with the scorpion helmet, boy is she going to have neck problems in the future.)kept me glued to the book. Not to give anything away but a few highlights that make this a worthwhile read... the give and take between El Guacho and Batman in their real life identities, the Tango, the history of Oroboro, and of course, the girl in the scorpion helmet.
