'Final Exam' part 4: Will the kids give up their powers? Alchemist offers the students a chance to be normal again! But what is the catch? Plus: The ultimate challenge to the Mettle/Hazmat romance!
Date Available: 09/19/2012
BONUS REVIEW by Gary Owens

A team of young heroes, unsure of their potential, fighting for what is right but sometimes, uncertain, choosing the unethical, selfish path. That is, until a day comes when they face a villain where they must decide their future direction. Welcome to the Thunderbolts...I mean, Avengers Academy. This is part #4 of a storyline that will see the young heroes decide superhero-kind's fate. Grummett does an excellent job, as usual, with the art, while Gage follows a path that both companies are following with various characters, namely featuring "troubled youth". It has its place, I guess, but it has been done a lot, too. Last part in the storyline, give it a shot if you want something "different".

I give it 6 out of 10 Grahams
