BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy
Boy did I want to like this book. Boy did I not get what I wanted. The follow up to the very enjoyable David Morrell story exists for what reason? Was it in the can somewhere? A fill in issue never published? Very basic Pete-Johnny Storm stuff here, very basic Johnny-Ben stuff here, and very basic FF prankster stuff all over the place. Sean Chen shows why he's not missed at Marvel with a sub-par art job. Look at his Wolverine or Iron Man work if you want to see what could have been. A backup that tries for the sentimentality of 'The Kid Who Collected Spider-Man' from Amazing 248 fall short as well. I want Pete back as much as the next person, but I guess we're back to waiting for the OGN 'Family Business' coming in Feburary. I give it 3 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
