'THE TRIAL OF JEAN GREY' PART 3! Jean is on trial and it's up to the All-New X-Men and Guardians of the Galaxy to get her free.
Date Available: 4/23/2014
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

'The Trial of Jean Grey' pt. 3 eliminates any of the pretty, petty blah from part one. I only mention this because of the concern that the Guardians issues would be fun, and the X-men issues would be...not. Like all good legal proceedings, this issue brings the funny. Both Iceman and Rocket have laugh out loud dialogue. Bendis gives us a great insight into how Bobby's brain works compared to say, Hank, who is also a hoot. We also get some red meat with the Shi'ar making their case to a confused Jean Grey why she's been abducted, and what the consequences of her past actions that she (haven't happened yet for her) have wrought. Stuart Immonen's visual storytelling remains magical. The mood work with color is solid and directed. The writing is clever and endearing. There's a great surprise on the last page that will have mind bending ramifications for Cyclops, because he's already had them! I wish I could find something to show this is actually a review and not just fanboy gushing, but I loved loved loved loved loved this issue. Loved.

I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
