 This issue is great, but it will reaallly help if you loved Prometheus. Writer Chris Roberson continues to define exactly what the 'black goo' from that movie was, what it can do, and what it might do if, say, an alien and a human were both slammed face first into a pool of it at the bottom of a lake. Here's a hint-it seems to be awful and awesome at the same time. Science once again moves man closer to bad decisions over bad luck. The sparse characterization is easily overcome by Patric Reynolds' artwork. If you're looking for a feeling of dread around Halloween, this is a fine place to start.
