 I was a pretty big fan of the most recent Shield series, so I was worried that I might not love this all new version. The cover certainly didn't quell those fears even a tiny bit. However, beneath that cover that even the '90s would have rejected, lies a title with a great deal of potential. Where the last series was all about inserting the Marvel Comics Universe into the lives of the TV series cast, this new take on the title seems to be using the opposite approach. By making the TV version of Shield a more prominent fixture in the comic book universe, the creative team have given us what we all originally wanted the actual show to be. Highly recommended for people who like the concept of a Shield show but have been disappointed by the Shield show that they got. I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
