MARVEL COMICS

Spider-Man/Red Sonja (5 issues)
Writer Michael Avon Oeming (OMEGA FLIGHT, Red Sonja) and Mel Rubi (Red Sonja) – plus series cover artist Michael Turner (CIVIL WAR) – answer the eternal question: What's better in a fight, the proportional strength and speed of a spider, or cold, hard steel and a chain–mail bikini?

Spider-Man: One More Day Sketchbook (one-shot)
The hottest, most controversial storyline to hit Spider-Man is coming next month. Are you ready? Get into the mind of Marvel EiC, and One More Day artist, Joe Quesada for hints as to what lies in store for Peter. Also, as an added treat, Joe takes you through his personal sketchbook to see how he reinvented his style and gives a master class on penciling for comics today. This is a book no Spider-Man fan, aspiring artist, or anyone with a pulse can afford to miss! BONUS — Doesn’t look like Daredevil: Father! Yay!

The Last Fantastic Four Story (one-shot)
Legendary writer and Fantastic Four co-creator Stan Lee unites with artist John Romita Jr. to tell his final story of the team that started the Marvel age! ...that’s all? Stan “the Man” Lee is doing a 64 page FF story and the only push they give it is ONE SENTENCE? Jeez. Is he suing them again or something? Marvel treated that goofy Kirby “Galactic Bounty Hunters” like Watchmen 2 compared to this. Weird.

World War Hulk: Gamma Files (one-shot)
Who are the rebellious Renegades? Why did the young upstart Mastermind Excello search for the Hulk? How many identities and powers has Rick Jones had? What were the ramifications for the Illuminati for sending Hulk into space? Is Alec Baldwin coming back for another season of 30 Rock? How much destruction did the Hulk cause during his rampage towards vengeance? Find out in the WORLD WAR HULK GAMMA FILES!

Shanna: Survival of the Fittest (4 issues)
Shanna the She-Devil returns in an all-new series jam-packed with jungle action, Hong Kong gangsters, dinosaurs, diamonds and cavemen! Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti reunite with super-hot artist Khari Evans (DAUGHTERS OF THE DRAGON) to bring you the story of modern-day pirates shipwrecked on the Marvel Universe's deadliest island, where only Shanna can protect them from hordes of man-eating monsters!

Terror, Inc. (5 issues, MATURE READERS)
Meet Mr. Terror -- he’s dapper, he’s charming, he owns and operates his own VERY successful business…and, oh yeah, he’s fifteen centuries old and rotting fast. Doomed to decompose for all eternity, Terror forever replaces his festering limbs with fresh parts. The curse keeps him alive, but it’s what’s left of his twelfth-century sweetheart -- encased in enchanted metal and serving as his right arm -- that keeps him honest.

Marvel Spotlight: Halo (one-shot)
This special issue of Marvel Spotlight will be bringing comic readers unfamiliar with the world of Halo (both of you) up close to the mythos that is providing fertile ground for so many great stories! We'll also be chatting with Bendis and Maleev as well as some of the folks over at Bungie who are working on Halo 3, the hotly anticipated blockbuster video game, about their collective plans for the Halo miniseries and more!

DC COMICS

All-New Booster Gold (ongoing series)
Following the universe altering conclusion of 52, Booster Gold wants what’s due to him — a spot on the Justice League of America! But the time stream’s in trouble, and Booster Gold is in the center of it! Now he must make a choice: reclaim his former glory or do the right thing, forgoing the credit. Written by Geoff Johns (JUSTICE SOCIETY) and on art, BOOSTER GOLD creator/Jimmy Hayes look-alike Dan Jurgens!

Black Adam: The Dark Age (6 issues)
With the power of the gods stripped from him, Teth-Adam is on a quest to find not only the magical word that will restore him as Black Adam, but also the one thing that always kept his heart from turning completely black with rage. He is a man on the run from Earth's heroes, who want to see him brought to justice. Some want him tried before a world court, while others want retribution. And some simply want him dead as quickly and as quietly as possible.

52 Aftermath: The Four Horsemen (6 issues)
From the ashes of devastated Bialya they rise again in the FOUR HORSEMEN — War, Pestilence, Famine, Death — living embodiments of the Dread Ages of Apokolips. Freed from thrall to the mad geniuses who first summoned them, the Horsemen look to their own dark ambition, to remake the Earth in their image — and only the combined might of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman can stop them!

Countdown to Adventure (8 issues)
Flying out of the pages of 52, it’s Adam Strange, Starfire and Animal Man in an explosive new series! Now that they’ve returned to their respective homes, where do they go from here? Find out what the future holds for these heroes in the DCU! And in the 8-page backup, from the pages of COUNTDOWN, it’s a tale of Forerunner! Find out more about this awesome new character and her relationship with the Monitors.

Outsiders: Five of a Kind (5 issues)
Get ready for FIVE OF A KIND — five issues, five top creative teams, one team-up per week, as Batman takes control of the Outsiders by using these adventures to pick his new lineup! Week 1: Nightwing/Boomerang. Week 2: Katana/Shazam. Week 3: Thunder/Martian Manhunter. Week 4: Metamorpho/Aquaman. Week 5: Grace/Wonder Woman. From Mike W. Barr, Joshua Middleton and more!

Metal Men (8 issues)
Bursting from the pages of 52 and SUPERMAN/BATMAN into their own new 8-issue miniseries by Duncan Rouleau (M*REX… you know what, never mind)— it’s Gold! Platina! Mercury! Iron! Lead! Tin! And now Copper! Doc Magnus’s creations are ready to take on all-new threats and some old, reimagined ones: Chemo, Doctor Yes, B.O.L.T.S., as well as the Robot Renegades led by an old Manhunter Robot!

Batman/Lobo: Deadly Serious (2 issues)
Get ready for an action-packed 2-part tale teaming up the Dark Knight with the interstellar madman, as only Sam Kieth can deliver! Batman, transported to an alien vessel by a mysterious figure, is asked to help cure a plague that has infected its inhabitants. Lobo, who has also been shanghaied, finds himself in the same boat. Now, Batman and Lobo, two incredibly unlikely companions, must somehow find a way to work together — and find out the real reason for their abductions — before they kill each other!

Justice League/America #12 (two covers)
Two covers from Alex Ross (TERMINATOR, BATTLE OF THE PLANETS) form one Justice-tacular image! Yes, it’s a word. Yes, seriously. Look, I don’t care what Wikipedia says. Just ‘cause it isn’t on the Internet doesn’t mean it isn’t true. I’m not having this discussion again.

Teen Titans #50 (Anniversary, new creative team)
Don’t miss this very special issue that ushers in the new TEEN TITANS creative team of Sean McKeaver and Randy Green, reunites Marv Wolfman and George Pérez for their first new Titans adventure in years, and also features a story by Geoff Johns and Mike McKone! It all begins when the Titans bury another friend — and ends with a deadly, familiar threat as well as an addition to the team.

Blue Beetle #18 (Teen Titans tie-in)
Teen Titans cross-over!

Superman #666 (guest artist)
An extra-sized spectacular featuring art by Walter Simonson, as Superman goes to Hell — literally — during the most nightmarish adventure of his heroic career, and a dread portent of that which may be coming! Who, or what, is “The Beast from Krypton”? This issue — featuring the Phantom Stranger, the Demon and a host of other DC superstars from Wonder Woman to Animal Man — is guaranteed to send chills down your spine!

The Un-Men (ongoing series)
Breakout writer John Whalen and Eisner-nominated artist Mike Hawthorne (THE EXTERMINATORS, Queen and Country) bring chilling new life to THE UN-MEN — the former SWAMP THING adversaries — with a series that explores what it means to be a freak in a society filled with gawkers. They say the freaks come out at night. But in Aberrance, U.S.A., freaks are big business. On the board of directors sit the freakiest freaks of all — birthed in the profane laboratories of Anton Arcane — THE UN-MEN.

Confessions of a Blabbermouth ($10 graphic novel)
When Tasha’s mom brings home an annoying hack novelist boyfriend, Jed, and his deadpan daughter, her dysfunctional family is headed for a complete mental meltdown. But Tasha has her blog, BLABBERMOUTH, as the ultimate weapon — and she's not afraid to use it. Especially when she starts to suspect that the obnoxious Jed has a guilty secret that goes far beyond his bad prose.
