 Classic character Popeye gets a wild Manga style reimagining for a modern spin on a character that is almost a hundred years old! Being a fan of classic Popeye, I didn’t really care for this modernization. What I like about Popeye is its old-timeyness. So seeing Popeye in crazy manga style action was a bit jarring. So, though it was fun seeing all the characters again, I don’t know that I would continue reading this series. For diehard Popeye fans or manga lovers only.
